My Guide to the San Diego Comic Con

San Diego Comic Con for 2003.

In preperation for this Con, I needed more webspace, so EvilGeniuses.org moved to a new server (hello JavaServletHosting.com ). It took me a bit to fix up the broken links, since the directory structure had to be different, but I have more room to work with and it costs less, so it's all good.

Here's some of the links I posted before the Con. I don't know if they're still any good, but if I ever have time, I'll edit them.

• Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, and Andy Serkis should be showing up to show off the The Two Towers DVD.
• Check out a raffle for a signed Daredevil movie poster, with proceeds going to New York City Comic Book Museum . Check out The Comic Boards for more info.
• The dinner with Neil Gaiman went for $400, the dinner with Frank Miller went for $222.22, and the dinner with Will Eisner went for $150. Proceeds going to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
• BBC Worldwide Americas are putting together a $400-500 prize pack for the best Doctor Who costume at the Masquerade. You can read about it on Google.
• Some stuff from Inkworks
• The best bookstore I know, Mysterious Galaxy will have authors at the con (and in store, I think).
• Wil Wheaton will be there, pushing his book, Dancing Barefoot. I already have it and it's great stuff.
• Members of the Official Star Wars Fan Club have a chance to have breakfast with Boba Fett.
• Preview of some of DC panels.
• Some stuff about Stargate SG-1.
• Need a G. I. Joe prototype?
• Reneé O'Connor, of Xena fame will be doing a signing.
