Preview night at Comic-Con: International 2004

The convention center from the top level of the Horton Plaza parking structure.	Unfortunately, Preview Night was again, unable to open on time. I usually hear that the reason is that the fire marshall hasn't given approval that the convention floor is safe.

A Darth Maul figure. There was a lot of Star Wars stuff this year.	Costumes where out in full force early on.

A Gollum statue.	A statue of Frankenstein's Monster.

I don't have enough wall space for the posters I have, much less the money to buy more.	Ebay's at it again. They must do pretty well signing up people here to show up year after year.

There was a free showing of Harold & Kumar go to White Castle but I missed out on tickets.	Maybe that was a good thing? I did get to go see Shaun of the Dead for free, and that was a very good thing.

That banner is just too cool. Unfortunately, all my plans to steal it were foiled .

The Star Wars Pavilion.

Wizards of the Coast were back, promoting their Eberron game setting.

Ultrox, from the Alien Racers toy line.	This radio controlled Gnarl just looked like fun to play with. It must be a pretty good job to just race aliens around to booth all day.	A bunch of the Alien Racers action figures.

More pretty girls. This lady was stuck in here all day.	This was supposed to promote Species III... why even make this movie, much less promote it???
