Broken Down Truck
The traffic going south on the 15 out of Escondido is bad during the week, but it usually speeds up once you get past the bridge over Lake Hodges. Not this day. This truck decided to break down right at the 15 and 163 split, and traffic was backed up all the way to Escondido. We left about 7:15 and didn't get to the truck until 8:30. It was only about 15 minutes to the Con after that, where we got to wait another half hour to pay for parking in a lot behind the convention center.
Eric Pierpoint Gary Graham

David Franklin Lani Tupu
David Franklin, who plays Meeklo Braca on Farscape. Lani Tupu, who plays Crais on Farscape.
Save Farscape Homie
Of course, after seeing some of the stars from Farscape, I had to visit the Save Farscape booth. Homie, looking down on us. Do we look like donuts to him? From the Wonderful World of Animation Art Gallery.
Troopers and Bounty Hunters Queen Amidala
There were a lot of Storm Troopers and other Star Wars types there this year. It looked like several fan clubs had gotten together and were promoting themselves, including the 501st Stormtrooper Legion and The Orange County Star Wars Society. This young lady (Christy Erkel) loved getting her picture taken, and even got pulled up to the photo stage after the masquerade. When I first saw her, an EXTREME fan (you know the type) was rambling on about the good and the bad of the various Star Wars films. She took it all with amazing grace, kindly listening to him for the five minutes that I stood by (barely able to hold in the laughter) in addition to who knows how long he went on before I came up.
Drink Slurm Duff Beer
Drink Slurm, it's highly addictive. You've gotta love truth in advertising! While it's good enough for Homie...
Liquor Man Liquor Man
... Is Duff beer good enough for Liquor Man? This picture just speaks for itself.
Battle Droid Cheshire Cat
A Star Wars Battle Droid, created at Bolt Gallery. They had a lot of neat creations, all made out of bolts, nuts and other random bits of metal. The Cheshire Cat from American McGee's Alice video game. It looked so cool, I even thought about buying it, and I know I would have no place to put it. From Entertainment Earth.
Iyari Limon Iyari Limon
Iyari Limon, who played Willow's new girlfriend, Kennedy, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to get in line and get an autograph.
Mark Lutz Danny Strong
Mark Lutz, who played the Groosalugg on Angel. Danny Strong, who played Jonathan on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Musketeer
He looks like a musketeer to me.
Michele Scarabelli
Michele Scarabelli, who played Susan Francisco on Alien Nation.
Tape Girl
It took me a while to find this girl. My friends kept saying "Did you see the Tape Girl??? You have to get pictures of her!!".
Corpse Corpse
Asylum Press had this corpse to show off. If you need you're own corpse, you can check out The Ed Gein Collection.
Darth Vader Darth Vader Darth Vader
"The Force is strong with this one."
